Bloomberg New Energy Finance Fellows
Each year four individuals are awarded a six month full-time Fellowship position at one of Bloomberg New Energy Finance's global offices. Fellows work as part of our analyst teams, contributing to a variety of projects across our renewable energy and carbon services.
Bloomberg New Energy Finance Fellows are dedicated to the development of a low carbon future. They have outstanding talent with the drive and desire to understand and contribute to the wider industries of renewable and clean energy markets.
With direct mentorship from our top executives, Fellows also undertake an individual project designed to strengthen and deepen knowledge in new areas. Their findings and recommendations are presented to the executive board at the end of the six-month Fellowship period.
Applications to become a 2011 Fellow have now closed.
Bloomberg New Energy Finance offers a range of opportunities for internships during the year, with start dates in March, June, September and December. To give them the chance to gain real and valuable experience, interns take responsibility for important pieces of research, identifying companies and financial transactions in the sector, unravelling relationships between industry players, tracking down news stories etc. They may also be involved in marketing and sales activities with an internship in our sales team. Internships typically last for 10-12 weeks, while outstanding interns may be invited to join the company in an analyst role if vacancies exist.
